Sacramento pilot, 95, on the verge of a Guinness World Record
After a storied 30-year military career, Peter Weber Jr. is now on the verge of a world record. The 95-year-old pilot from Cameron Park still takes to the skies about twice a month for pleasure and as an instructor. But something was missing. When it was suggested that Weber might be the oldest pilot in California, his family learned he may actually be the world's oldest active pilot, period.
